63 years and 1 day

Today is the first day into my 64th year .... we all know, beginning with babies, by the time we celebrate the 1st birthday, they have lived 365 years of life. So it is with me.  Yesterday was my 63rd birthday.  It was my 217th straight day in a row -  of walking outside.  Been through it all now - Fall and the beautiful colors.  Winter - ice, snow and freezing cold, Spring with its unpredictable weather and rain, and now heading into Summer this month ... although it has already been in the high 30's.  Walking is much easier in the cold than the heat.   I celebrated yesterday.  Alvin and I picked up Sausage Egg McMuffins, parked the convertible under a shady tree and ate, and then he took me to a new location - an old quarry park with trails in Stony Mountain.  It was beautiful.  I walked barefoot in blundstones for day 217.  But I realize they are much hotter than runners.   My kids dropped off food, due to the restrictions h...
